Big Trucks and Braves

Last Saturday was the city's annual Touch-A-Truck event. The boys love to sit on all the big rigs, honk the horns, and push the levers.
Ben's favorite was the garbage truck. He even got to press the levers to make the the scooper in the back work (a BIG deal for a 4-year-old).
But, in my opinion, the coolest thing was the inside of the SWAT truck.
Fireman Ben.
And, of course, they had to end up in the back seat of a police car.

This morning we headed to Turner Field for the Braves Open House. It was an awesome all-access experience. We toured the clubhouse, the press boxes, the dugouts, and even got to go out onto the field. It was a great time, particularly for Jess, a lifelong Braves fan.
We started out with a tour of the Braves Museum and Hall of Fame.
In front of the 1995 World Series trophy.
On an old Braves dugout bench.

Sluggers waiting in the dugout.
Hanging inside the clubhouse.
Noah and Ben get a view from the press box.
Then Jess and the boys went out onto the field to shag some fly balls.
Here it comes ...
There it is!
And finally we ran the bases.
Noah heads for third.
Can't wait for the season to start - Go Braves!
